Story

Jason Schulweis is the President & CEO of JBS Growth, an advisory firm that helps companies grow revenue through sales, go-to-market, and marketing strategy. He was most recently the EVP, Brand Partnerships & Creative Studio at Morning Brew, a leading business media brand, overseeing two departments: Brand Partnerships and the Creative Studio. During his tenure, he grew company revenue and headcount over 20x, and helped enable a successful sale of the company in late 2020 to Axel Springer/Insider.

He is an agile, adaptable, and empathetic revenue executive operating at the intersection of sales, marketing, and creativity with a successful 14+ year track record of providing internal and external stakeholders with results and inspiration. He is a proven organizational leader and people manager through multiple periods of challenging marketplace conditions. He has consistently earned more responsibility for a combination of proactive insights-driven strategies, relationship-building abilities, and quota attainment.

Built a leading revenue organization (sales & creative studio/branded content), grew company revenue and team headcount over 20x, and helped enable a successful sale of the company.

Consulted media and entertainment leadership teams through developing and implementing actionable strategies across sales, marketing, B2B partnerships, and corporate development. 

Vice President, Group Director & Business Lead - Marketing Solutions

Managing a team of nine across creative, design, and strategy, my team owned budget, timelines, ideation, and presentations in response to proactive and reactive (RFP) global and national asks.

Director, Sales Marketing & Advertiser Solutions

Productized and sold tentpole initiatives (Best Day of Your Life, Hotel Thrillist, Taco Knockout), trained sales on multiple GP iterations, and developed a full-funnel sales strategy ("Storyselling").
